Amaranth is one of the best beach resort I have visited till now. Great ambiance, friendly and helpful staff and above all excellent location. The resort is located right on the beach and we were given the best room. The beach was at a distance of hardly 400 meters. We could view the sea and feel the cool breeze right from th sit out. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. It felt like a private beach, a very good place relax and chill. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. Excellent hospitality.

Turtle breeding at Anjarle Beach
Anjarle village protects the Olive Ridley Turtles, an endangered species. Their eggs are protected at nest site near beach. Protected eggs are later released when they hatch into baby olive ridley turtles with hope they will return one day again to lay more eggs on the beach. Watching these baby turtles take their first steps as they find their way towards the sea is an unforgettable moment.
Kadyavaracha Ganapati
Situated at about 20 Km. from resort is a cozy Konkani Anjarle village hidden in thick coconut grooves. The 600 yrs. old Lord Ganesha temple is situated on a small hill near the village and is popularly known as ‘Kadyavarcha Ganpati’. The winding pathway to the temple is very beautiful passing through dense forest. It’s a small trek that is most enjoyable in early morning hours. Those who don’t want to engage into this physical activity can opt for a direct vehicle road that directly leads to temple.
Sight seeing like Panhalkaji Caves
The Panhalakaji caves are located on the Dapoli-Dabhil Pangari road. The road goes right up to the caves. It is situated deep in the valleys and is surrounded by jungle and river which are filled with birds and reptiles.
There are close to 29 caves and many sculptures around. It is the best place for a history buff of adventure enthusiast.
A Fishy Experience!
A real treat for seafood lovers! This fish market is located on the beach itself. The buzz starts everyday from 4pm. The trawllers, small fisherman unloads their stock on the port. The transactions are mostly in large scale but one can always strike a bargain. Vehicle parking is available and one can always pick fresh fish on way back and carry it in cooling boxes provided in the market.
Dolphin Ride
During your stay in Amaranth, don’t miss the Dolphin rides on the Murud Beach. It’s a spectacular and joyous experience. Probability of spotting the dolphins is very high in Murud because of nearby fishery market at Harnai port.

Visit to Parashuram Bhumi
Another not to miss place is Prashuram Bhumi. Situated at a distance of 17 km from the resort, a very peaceful and serene place – Burondi. It’s a beautiful ride along the winding path to the hill top where you can see the 21 feet tall Bhagwan Parusharam Statue standing over earth sphere of diameter 40 feet !. It’s a place to sit quietly, enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of Tamstirtha sea shore.
